  • Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)
    • Staffed by licensed psychologists and postdoctoral trainees, FSAP provides confidential, brief psychological counseling to individuals and a wide variety of consultation services to the organization

  • Peer Support Program – Caring for the Caregiver Program
    • Connects healthcare providers with trained peer supporters within the UCSF Health System, often from a similar department.

  • UCSF Office of The Ombuds
    • Dispute resolution services that are protected from disclosure. Offers a safe, confidential place to discuss campus-related issues and explore possibilities for informally addressing concerns.

  • UCSF CARE Advocate
    • Provides free, confidential support who have experienced interpersonal violence such as sexual assault, dating/intimate partner violence, sexual harassment or stalking

    • Residents can communicate confidentially with a panel of advisors by email or phone to get advice on a number of topics including balancing personal and professional life, burnout, medical mistakes, and the like.
